Audiofile recently installed the Netherlands’ first multichannel/surround Devialet Phantom setup featuring the Storm Audio Evo surround processor.
The client already owned two Phantom 108 dB units. After adding four compact Phantom II 98 CI speakers and integrating the Storm Audio processor, he and his family now enjoy an exceptional high-end surround system.

Performance vs. the Market
The performance of this setup is quite difficult to compare with competing surround brands, as Phantoms behave differently — acoustically speaking.
Bass control, or rather the timing of the low frequencies relative to the musical midrange, is hard to surpass. This is thanks to Devialet’s patented SAM (Speaker Active Matching) technology.
